Just wanted to share my personal grocery shopping list! Keep in mind, this grocery list has taken me a very long time build. I am 80% vegan and I am just sharing what works for me right now.
Losing 50 pounds off of my body was one of the greatest things I've ever done for my health but I've also learned how important it is to keep my body fueled properly, be respectful of my health and never take it for granted again.
"In my world of food, there is no fear or guilt, it's all joy and balance."
The truth is, you "have" a body and you are NOT your body.
No matter what it looks, always be kind to yourself and always give yourself a little pat on the back when you make good choices and little high five when you eat what you like! It's truly all good.
This is not an all or nothing list, its just my "basics", what I keep on hand to create easy healthy meals. I still have pizza, I still have a goat cheese salad, I still go out to eat, I just prefer to keep myself alkalized 80% of the time; so you will find that this is a pretty "clean" shopping list.
With that being said, always do what works for you! :) Fuel your body as you see fit.
This grocery list took me 2 years to work up to and it is not an accurate list of how I lost 50 pounds. Not even close.
My eating habits and food mentality were very different 2 years ago. When I was losing weight it was so important to eat and work on building little healthy habits along the way, like trying meatless Monday for one meal or trying a low carb dinner and really playing around with what works for you as you get back in tune with the meals that really work for you.
Just wanted to clarify that because it's so important to listen to your body and eat what you love.
I genuinely prefer to eat this way, it makes me feel amazing and I don't eat anything that I don't like, whether its healthy or not, I always focus on feeling happy, satisfied and energized.

Everything else, I try to grab fresh so if it's herbs, spices, vegetables, fruit, or even the occasional piece of fish for dinner, I'll just pick it up that day. For me, it's all about keeping it simple and not over-stocking my fridge or pantry. Less is truly more.
Right now, I intuitively eat and I've never been healthier or happier. It took me years to regain what wellness and health really means and make true peace with my body; and I hope that being open and honest helps you get back to a place of true wellness.
